ReelCourse Materials

All material used in this course is either based on real movies the film-makers have made, or future material they wish to work with. A trailer of Bennett Joshua Davlin’s last film “Memory” can be found at www.memorythemovie.com.

The course will primarily focus around upcoming material the film-maker may be set to produce in both film and TV, (although attendance in this course in no way means they will receive a role).

ReelOnline Course Materials

All scenes, call sheets, schedules, etc. will be posted our website’s student section. Accepted students will be given a password to access course materials and will be responsible for printing the files themselves. Students should expect dramatic, thought provoking material.

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

MASTER CLASS COURSES
CLASSES ARE ONCE A WEEK FOR 9 WEEKS (EXCLUDING HOLIDAY WEEKENDS)

SOME CLASSES CONSIST OF DRAMATIC TRAINING, OTHERS INCLUDE BEING FILMED AND
CRITIQUED ON CAMERA.

Course scenes may include scenes the actor suggests as well as scenes written by the course instructor and possibly for use in a future film.

Upon completion of our Master Class:
EACH STUDENT MAY CHOOSE TO RECEIVE A COPY OF THEIR DVD FOOTAGE OF THEIR PERFORMANCES.
*completion of the class is necessary to receive the reel. Our master classes are offered one day a week, schedules may vary. Inquires on class schedules should be emailed to info@thereelinstitute.com

Classes are kept small for student teacher interaction. Students should expect anything and everything while on set. If footage has been taped the class prior, students will spend 30 minutes screening the previous week’s edited footage. They will be critiqued on their footage and instructed on how best to maximize their screen performance.

*If we enroll less students than projected, class schedules and formats could be changed, altered, or canceled. All applicants will be briefed on the changes and alterations prior to their payment and enrollment in the course.
