Code of Conduct

ReelCode of Conduct for The Reel

The Reel Institute is committed to provided a harassment free environment. We expect our acting students to be on time, prepared, and professional. Actors are expected to follow our basic code of conduct. Infringement of this code will constitute immediate termination from our course. The following actions are strictly prohibited:

  1. Actors are expected to arrive to our classes completely sober and coherent.
  2. No alcohol or drug use will be tolerated for the duration of classes. No alcohol or drugs can be transported or stored on our premises at any time. Violation of this rule will constitute immediate termination from the course.
  3. The carrying, storage, or use of fire arms are strictly prohibited on our premises at all times during classes.
  4. Real physical violence, real threats of violence, extreme belligerent behavior both physical and verbal, will not be tolerated at any time and will constitute immediate termination from the course.
  5. The faculty and staff reserve the right to terminate a student at any time during the course.
  6. Because each class has unique surprises and excercises, students are not allowed to share the content of each class with other students in the school (outside of their own class).
  7. Students are forbidden from photographing and/or audio recording anything while on class premisis.
